Jolene is a board-certified Women’s Health and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2001 and provided nursing care to families at the Maternity Center at Providence Alaska Medical Center for nearly two decades. In 2015, she graduated with Sigma Theta Tau honors from the University of South Alabama with a Master Degree in Women’s Health and again in 2019 with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. She went on to earn a Post-Graduate Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2024.
Jolene has cared for women in a variety of specialties including Labor and Delivery, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Interventional Pain Management, Endocrine/Diabetes, and Mental Health. She is known for listening and taking the time to educate the women in her care so they have a clear understanding of their care plan. She has a passion for learning and enjoys being part of a collaborative team that is committed to providing quality care.
Jolene is proud to be an Alaska Native Aleut. She grew up on the Kenai Peninsula and has a large extended family in many areas of the South Central and Prince William Sound regions. She loves spending time with the many critters on her little pseudo-farm including her husband, four children, and a growing number of grandchildren.
