Dynamic Pelvic

  • Dynamic Pelvic MRI utilizes static and dynamic imaging of the pelvis to assess for functional and anatomic causes of pelvic floor dysfunction. The superior soft-tissue contrast of MRI allows for a detailed evaluation of the musculature, organs, and fascia of the pelvic floor while avoiding ionizing radiation. Cine-clips allow for real-time, dynamic imaging during defecation, often revealing unsuspected or confounding causes of dysfunction.
