This experience was very eye opening in understanding that it is everyone’s individual choice on where they go to get sub specialized imaging diagnosis! Thank you Imaging associates for all you did for Genesis Mejia we are forever grateful!
I want to thank all the amazing staff and doctors at Imaging Associates I am so thankful, their diagnosis was truly life saving!!
My friend Rick Steel (Executive Pastor at Change Point) recently had his heart checked out. As we all know, Rick has a good heart! But what he didn’t know was the extent of calcified plaque in his coronary arteries, and that worried him. Fortunately, everything checked out fine which, made my friend happy to know that all is well!
Imaging Associates provides to our communities CT Calcium Scoring at an incredible value of only $100! A cardiac CT scan for coronary calcium is a simple, non-invasive way of obtaining information about the presence, location and extent of calcified plaque in the coronary arteries. These are the vessels that supply the oxygen containing blood to the heart muscle. Because calcium is a marker of Coronary Artery Disease, the amount of calcium detected on a cardiac CT scan is a very helpful prognostic tool and can often be lifesaving! If you are 50 or older, talk to your physician about getting this done at Imaging Associates ASAP! We leverage the most advanced CT technology in AK that provides the sharpest image with an average of 40% less radiation than most CTs. Our subspecialized reports will go back to your physician within two hours or less!

From the Alaska State Medical Association … Surgical masks offered ‘at cost' to Alaskan providers and practices.
The Alaska State Medical Association (ASMA) is partnering with an Anchorage-based nonprofit entity to distribute limited supplies of much-needed personal protection equipment (PPE) to first responders and health care practices and providers throughout the state.
To support providers and their communities, several physicians have volunteered to help source PPE and import it direct to Alaska. Our immediate goal is to have enough PPE in the state to protect our health care workers, first responders, and professionals performing emergent and urgent procedures and imaging exams.
For starters, ASMA, Dr. Chakri Inampudi from Imaging Associates and a small group of local physicians have acquired a limited quantity of surgical masks (non-N95). They are available “at cost” on a first-come, first-served basis. An order consists of exactly one unopened box of 2,000 masks for $980 (49 cents per mask) plus a $30 credit card processing fee, for a total of $1,010. The masks are offered only to providers and practices in Alaska until the supply is exhausted, and they are allocated geographically, so no community gets left out.
While we recognize that 49 cents per mask is a much higher price than in “normal” times, it is not uncommon these days for suppliers to charge upwards of 65 cents with a delivery time of two weeks or more. And again, 49 cents is our actual cost. No profit is being made, and we have the masks now.
The masks can be purchased only by credit card. To order, call (907) 562-0304 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. IMPORTANT: Because this is a first-come, first-served process with a limited supply, you must speak with our phone representative to place an order. Do not leave a voice message. Please continue calling until you reach a live person.
When you call in your order, you will be given instructions for picking up your masks. If you prefer, the box can be shipped to you for an additional $40.
Please do not go to the ASMA office! The office is closed to the public, and the masks are stored in another location. Orders are being accepted only by telephone.
ASMA would like to thank Imaging Associates and the group of Anchorage-based physicians who made this possible.

Valued Partner – The following Message Is An Important Update Regarding Imaging Associates Response to COVID-19
Imaging Associates continues to adjust our COVID-19 stance to address rapidly changing Federal and State guidelines out of our deep concern for our shared patient’s health. The steps taken to date are as follows: · We are going above and beyond throughout the day in wiping down ALL touchpoints with a disinfectant made to kill the Coronavirus and our staff is continuously engaged in complying with personal hygienic practices recommended by the CDC. · We have removed specific touchpoints such as coffee pots, magazines, surveys to minimize unnecessary surface contact. · We are contacting our patients the evening before their exam and asking them if they have traveled out of the state in the last 14 days and if they have, we are rescheduling their exam 14 days out from the date of their return. We are also asking our patients if they are experiencing a cough, fever, or difficulty breathing to call us and reschedule and recommend them to contact their Primary Care Manager if they hadn't done so already. Regarding patients presenting themselves with COVID-19 symptoms, we will direct them to contact their Primary Care Manager. · We have eliminated our waiting room! We adjusted our scheduling practice and placed "time buffers" between our patient’s appointments. Our goal is that when our shared patients show for their respective diagnostic exams that they are met by our technologist and escorted directly to the modality as we do not want them in a waiting room with other patients. We have taken the aforementioned measures to help our community care partners like you maintain access to quality diagnostics and to ensure our shared patients may continue to seek timely primary and specialty care close to home, and in turn, avoid overloading our communities ERs / Hospitals during this ongoing crisis. My CEO (Ward Hinger) and I will continue to adjust our posture to comply with Federal and State guidelines and provide a safe environment for our shared patients and staff. Please feel free to share any feedback you may have at [email protected] Sincerely, Dr Gerald E. York Medical Director ~ Imaging Associates ... See MoreSee Less

👏👏👍. We’ll be there this week.
The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it
I Hope you were taking those Measures on March 5 ? I had a bone Scan and got sick on the 9th of March ! Very bad sore throat , cough, Chills, fatigue, still not feeling good!
